Books Izzy Read February 2017

Robinson Crusoe 3/10 - Boring and had no chapters to split up the book resulting in a feeling of the book dragging on.
The Talking Tree 4/10 - interesting beginning but the ending felt flat
The Fisherman and the Genie 4/10 - Full of religious references and arguing
The Young King of the Black Isles 4/10 - Poorly explains why some things happen in order to focus on different parts of the story.
Gulnare of the Sea 4/10 - It was very boring and had very little character development
King Midas 5/10 - Message was obvious but it is a interesting classic story about greed
Upturned Face 4/10 - Interesting short story that revolves around a quick makeshift funeral during a war
Vanka 6/10 - A sad and touching story about a child`s struggle in poverty reaching out to his grandfather through a letter
Split Cherry Tree 7/10 - amazing story about education/knowledge and how much it changes between a generation
The Necklace 4/10 - great twist ending
