Annie's latest collection of books recently acquired. I have slowed down a little with my purchases - it is 17 days since my previous list.
As with all of these lists there is an interesting mixture of different genres and themes including fiction, non-fiction - biographies, action, adventure, misadventure, history, cookery, crafting, hobbies/interests, poetry, plays, religion/devotional, science, quirky . . .
One of the highlights is a lucky find of a copy of T.E. Lawrence's translation of Homer's Odyssey which I am looking forward to reading.
There are quite a few religious/devotional books as they were acquired from a free bookshelf in my local supermarket and I decided to adopt them. You can donate books/magazines or other items and take what whatever you want - all that is wanted is a donation in a collection tin which contributes to funding a children's hospice.
