Dystopian Books for Adults - Page 2

Dystopian fiction has come to dominate the YA market in publishing; so much so that we often forget that it has also been a mainstay of adult mainstream and genre fiction. Here are
80 works of dystopian fiction that were specifically targeted to adult readers and that exemplify originality of thought and excellence in writing. I should also note that I make a distinction between dystopian and post-apocalyptic fiction, although there are some works here that are both. Dystopian fiction should specifically present an operating society that is in some major way flawed and detrimental to the people who live in it.
