Cinephiles Watch Bad Films to Better Appreciate the Good Ones

As every cinephile knows, they watch the bad films to fully appreciate and understand the good ones. Everyone can appreciate the great films. However, cinephiles take a more subtle reasoning approach to fully understand slowly evolving classic movies. Another example is that cinephiles are able to apply their knowledge of film history and film theory to add more layers of appreciation to a movie.
