Shapeshifter Films - Page 5

The following movies are all from the filmography of "The Werewolf Book:The Encyclopedia of Shape-Shifting Beings" by Brad Steiger. There were a few others mentioned in the book, but I only included 2 foreign films from the picture section. It only goes to 1998, so no "Underworld", "Twilight" or "Ginger Snaps". Surprised they didn't list the 1972 tvm "Moon of the Wolf" with David Janssen. Some of these movies don't really qualify as "shapeshifter"-the Creature from the Black Lagoon is always that way, & the "Body Snatchers" are alien copies. Oh well. I didn't include all silent films, just the ones already in the database. I might have included a silent "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" twice, not sure. I also didn't include Paul Naschy's "Los Noches del Hombre Lobo" as it appears the film is lost-possibly as the director died in a car crash soon after filming. Also "Something is Out There" & 1987's "Werewolf" were both pilots for short-lived series. Happy Halloween 2016!
