Vegas Travel Memories

Back when I made my first trip there in 1985, Las Vegas had an almost virtual monopoly on legal gambling. But now casinos are everywhere and even sports bets can be made from my phone in the comfort of my own home. Be that as it may, I find myself still wanting to go back now and then (maybe not quite as often). It is a place that keeps evolving, reinventing itself (in my opinion, not always for the better). Maybe it is just nostalgia, but as my wife and I plan to celebrate our upcoming silver wedding anniversary there, I reminisce about the twenty or so previous visits to Sin City. This list includes some of the things that, for some reason or another, have stuck in my mind.
