Purplegame8657's Favorite Film of Every Year

A list of my personal favorite film of each year before I was born (2001). This is NOT a list of which films I think are the best of each year, just my favorites. The metric is extremely subjective; my rankings are based off of how much I happened to enjoy any given film. This list is subject to change if I watch a movie that I like more than one already on the list. Hopefully there are some surprising picks in here for you. Also important to note, some years will have no movies, especially in the 1930s because I haven't seen many films from the 1930s. If any of the years are wonky it might be because I pulled all information regarding years from IMDb and that might not match up with List Challenges.
