10 Great 80s Songs You've Never Heard

There were exactly four albums released in the 1980's - "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, "Synchronicity" by the Police, "Born in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen and "Purple Rain" by Prince. Or so a cursory inspection of the Billboard 200 tell you. No disrespect to that mega-selling quartet (well, maybe some for "Synchronicity") but there was so much else going on musically in the 1980's that there was no explanation, except maybe payola or lead-infused drinking water, for the late-decade domination of Milli Vanilli and hair metal.
