Screenrant's 10 Sequels That Start Right After the First Movie Ends

"With franchises that generally throw out movies every two years or so, that's usually the same amount of time that's set between the movies too. However, on the rare occasion, a movie will follow straight on from its predecessor, where the opening scene of the sequel follows the final scene in the last movie, and sometimes it's even the same scene. What's fascinating is that there are even sequels that came over 10 years after the original movies, but still picked up where the first ones left off. Whether it's because it's telling the second part of the same story or because it just follows on naturally, it's a clever way to introduce the movie." - screenrant.com
