100 Greatest Novels in the English Language

Definitely NOT your run-of-the-mill 100 Greatest Novels collection (I had to create 29 new book icons).
This list was created by American author, publisher, and avid book collector A. Edward Newton (1864–1940). At the time of his death, it was estimated that he had approximately 10,000 books in his collection, focusing on English and American literary works. The list and Newton's commentary thereon are in "This Book-Collecting Game" (A. Edward Newton, 1928).
Notes:
* You've got to love the Rudolph Valentino edition of "Monsieur Beaucaire".
* For east coast Australians: no, it's not THE Peter Sterling in Icon 37. Go the mighty Eels!
Message to other book list publishers only: PLEASE do NOT put spaces between initials in an author's name when creating a new icon.
