100 Modern Fiction Classics That Everyone Should Read

100 20th-21st century books of fiction that our maverick English Teacher believes are modern classics. He limited himself to one book per author and tried to include some books that are not on every list. He also made a conscious effort to include examples of genre fiction. He arbitrarily excluded drama, poetry, and non -fiction because he felt they should have lists of their own. Finally, this is not a "best of…" list; rather , it is intended as a list of recommendations for future reading.
