*When I first made this list, there was an error and 6 shows got added twice. So I fixed it*
I've done a few smaller lists like this before, so I can't really think of a good description that I haven't used before. Instead, here are some notes about the list:
- Shows are listed in chronological order
- Compilations of theatrical shorts (i.e. Looney Tunes) are not included (It feels like including a Greatest Hits compilation on a "best albums" list...)
- Anime (or other non-American cartoons) are eligible if they've aired on American TV
- Series must be at least 5 episodes long
- Episodes must be at least 10 minutes long
- While not shown, both versions of DuckTales take up one entry.
- If I haven't included some of your favorite shows, I'm deeply sorry. Fact is, there are a lot of quality animated shows, and narrowing it down to just 100 proved to be a difficult task. Just know that there are shows I really like that ended up not making the cut, for one reason or another.
