This is mostly just a challenge to myself, and a way to keep track of things. Of course, making such a list takes time, so I've actually seen a few of the movies I added since then.
It is also an update to my original list of movies to watch, as I progressed through it quite a lot, and also concluded that there are a small number of movies on that list that I actually don't want to watch.
I do not expect all of these movies to be good.
As for why the title says 1000 when the list has 1009 items, that's because I'm counting Kieślowski's Dekalog as a single movie, but each of its 10 parts is a single item on the list.
