120 Timeless Books - Page 2

Many of these books already have achieved timeless status by virtue of their influence on later generations of writers and on Western thought in general, e.g. the works of Homer and Plato. Others I have found are frequently referred to in contemporary works. And a handful or two are books that, having read them myself, I feel deserve this special status through the insights they provide and the quality of their writing.
