16 Controversial Movies So Uncomfortable They Got Midnight Screenings Only

Here are 16 controversial films deemed too shocking for daytime audiences according to Golden Age Classics. These movies, initially banned or heavily censored, ignited moral outrage and sparked nationwide protests. According to GAC (and I'm somewhat dubious), these films only were shown at midnight-only screenings, though that didn't diminish their cultural impact.
