1950s Films Seen - Page 3

This is a list of all films from the 1950s that I have seen --- so far. While not quite as fantastic as my favorite film decade, the 1940s, the 1950s definitely was a transitional decade in cinema. While the zeitgeist of the time was definitely milque toast and conformative in many ways, the '50s is also the decade that ushered-in the modern sci-fi era! Not to mention amazing dramas like "St. Louis Blues" with Eartha Kitt, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Elizabeth Taylor, "Niagara" with Marilyn Monroe and so many more.
