These selections are based on my feelings after reading a book for the first time. Some were read as far back as 60 years ago, with roughly a third initially read in childhood or adolescence.
BTW, don't miss out on my challenge at the link, which seems to have gone largely unnoticed, despite the quality of the 'gold medal' books therein. Is the Northern Hemisphere on summer holidays perhaps?
