21st Century Horror Fiction by Women and Nonbinary Writers - Page 3

Mary Shelley and Shirley Jackson shouldn't be the only names appearing on lists of great horror writers, and even on lists today, sometimes they're the only ones I see. Is more horror fiction by women writers being published in the 21st century? How many of these authors and books are you familiar with, and how many have you read? Nonbinary writers are even more marginalized, and I hope the next time I make a list like this I'm able to find and include more of them (I think the only one I knew to include was Rivers Solomon). I challenge you to read something by an author on this list during Women in Horror Month. If you have additional suggestions, visit Monster Librarian on Facebook and share them there! Thanks!
