30 Books That Are Hard to Get Into

There's at least one book everyone has read that they just couldn't get into! Luckily, I have plenty... special thanks to required reading in honors classes in both high school and university. Here's a list of books that aren't bad, per se, but I just could not make myself enjoy them when I read them. They are ranked from the most torturous soul wrenching I've ever experienced, to books I actually enjoyed the second (or third, or fourth...) time I read them.
