Collected here are 50 movies that for all intents and purposes, really didn't require a remake or a reboot to be made, at least not as soon as they got one. And yet it happened. I mean, did people REALLY think they could do it better?
Presented here are the original film and the remake/reboot. Now just to be clear, some of the remakes/reboots are actually good in their own right, but the original is usually considered pretty much untouchable.
I will have seen the original films in this list, but not necessarily all the remakes/reboots, many being a 'why bother?' situation for me.
