(7) Inventions

When I was a kid I watched old cartoons showing individual fire beings around a foot tall. They had faces and they would jump and burn the character's butt as he was running.
They were not nice, and as Alfred said in The Dark Knight:
"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn".
But in this case it wasn't men but the actual fire that wanted to watch everything burn.
