80 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die - Page 2

Sorted by release date. I was initially trying to get to 100 and had to give up, so maybe I'll make a version 2 of this when I find 20 more albums to include!
My criteria:
- limit 2 per artist (my greatest apologies to News of the World, Dirty Computer, and Hunky Dory)
- live albums are allowed but greatest hits compilations are NOT (sorry Three Dog Night)
- the choice to include each of these is obviously based mostly on "I think this is really good music that I recommend other people listen to", but in some cases I factored in cultural impact as well - for example, I've only heard "Kind of Blue" and "American Idiot" a couple times, but they *are* good albums that I think everyone should listen to at least once for both their musical quality and broader cultural impact
- has to be ONE album that's just really solid. It kills me to not have Ella Fitzgerald or Hall & Oates on here at all. However, I'm not judging by the artist's overall body of work, but individual albums.
