A Consolidated List of Books for College-Bound Readers

A highly educational list, brought to you by Mark9528, larrikin Aussie, retired long-winded pathology academic and former prolific book list publisher. It is a consolidation of 5 lists, made up of four challenges which each contain both "College" and "Bound" in their titles, and "Mrs. Eichelkraut's Reading List" (this title was the inspiration for the apple-pie list image).
Obviously this list may prove useful for college aspirants, especially in the USA. In fact it could also serve as a TBR for a wider audience.
There was another, less noble, motivation, for creating this challenge. I'd noticed that I seem to do quite well on this style of list, so why not create a useful list that I'm also bound to score well on?
