A Library Staff's Favorite Reads of 2024

Every December, my local library puts out a list of the staff's favorite books that they read in 2024. They aren't necessarily books PUBLISHED in 2024; they are just the ones the staff READ (and loved) in the year 2024. Librarians, shelvers, checkout assistants - they all participated. Everyone's interests are so varied that you would be hard pressed to say which staff member read which book, or even which ten (or so) belonged together on a single person's list. Seeing everyone's favorite books is one of my favorite things of the year at the library.
