A Revamp of the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die List - Page 8

My intent was 1) get the list back to 1001 books. 2) Improve the literary quality of the list, 3) Reduce the English language bias.
4) Bring in great books by great authors that have been egregiously left out (Homer, Chaucer, Chekhov, Morante, Ginsburg, Grossman, Shalomov, et al).
Whether I have achieved this or not is up to you.
