A Year in Reading - 25 Books Read in 2025

By Supriya Khadka: "Reading has always been important to me, but in 2025 it felt especially grounding. The books I read this year accompanied me through travel, deadlines, boredom, curiosity, and the occasional emotional spiral. Some challenged how I think about language, technology, and power, while others were simply there to make life feel lighter. To make sense of the year, I've grouped the books into loose categories and then ranked them based on how fondly I remember them now (jump to the final section if you only want to read the ranking!). This list reflects my current feelings, not necessarily how I felt the exact moment I closed each book."
