Aesthetics Series: Dark Academia

Dark academia is a subculture focused on old money boarding school and university aesthetics, though it often criticizes and satirizes them. Pretentious greek classics students in long coats, stone hallways, candlelight, dark bags under the eyes. A love of knowledge and learning, but with a hint of self-destruction and hubris. Usually culminates in murder, or something similar.
