Amazon's 20 Best Literary Novels of 2017 (So Far)

I'm a Kindle junkie, an Amazon is my dealer. That doesn't mean I believe they're always trying to give me good taste, they'll sell something seriously stepped-on if it makes them more money. I've read many of these novels based on Kindle reviews and recommendations, some of which were worthy of the praise and promotion, some of which made me wonder if the author had a lot of friends and family whom they strong-armed into giving them 5-star write-ups.
