Here is Annie's contribution to the trend of 'Oldest Books/Works Read'
I have limited myself to 200 works which provides a wide range of offerings covering approximately 6000 years from Ancient Mesopotamia to 1901, my decided cut-off point.
Included are books I read as a young child - Greek myths, and a selection of works from early Mesopotamia, Classics from Greece, and Rome, through to early English.
Dialogues, discourses, essays, travel, histories, enquiries, myths, legends, plays, poetry, novels . . .
And anything else that I have read.
Any duplicates are deliberate due to the fact of different translations and versions being read.
NOTE: everything I have read has been an English translation.
