Anthony Burgess' 99 Novels - Page 2

In 1984, Anthony Burgess (the author of A Clockwork Orange among other things) picked what he thought were the best 99 novels writte in English from 1939, when Orwell's "1984" was published, and 1983. He chose some you might expect, plus a few surprises. The 100th slot is for the reader to fill - possibly, said Burgess, with one of his own. I've included novel series by their first volume. Here they are.
