Around the World in Books From 250 Places Around the Globe - Page 2

I started my trek around the world through books in 2009, finishing my first complete circuit of the world in late 2011. In 2012, I read around the world again, completing 240 locations within that year alone. I have been adding more books read to this list ever since, and this is a sampling of books set in 250 locations I have read on my journey. Each country of the world is represented here, plus a few locations that are either geographically isolated, semi-autonomous, or disputed. I try to read books that are written by native authors AND set in the location whenever possible (there some outliers, however).
