Awful Sequels of Really Great Films

This is a list of extremes. Not just bad sequels (lord knows we have plenty), nor sequels that simply fail to live up to a great movie. Neither is it awful sequels to movies that were awful to start with (I'm looking at you Transformers movies...). These are films which are among the best in their genres, considered classics by many...and their sequels which have ZERO redeeming qualities. These sequels have not a TRACE of what made the originals brilliant. They fail on every level: story, script, acting, directing, etc. They don't just fail in comparison to the original, they are actually painful to watch (notice I did not include Terminators 3-6, because while they are bad, they still have some decent action which makes at least tolerable to watch if you're bored) This is the list of Best becoming Worst.
