Best Books of the 2020s (So Far)

In rough order of publication. Okay, so the decade has been kind of lousy so far, but that doesn't mean the literature it's produced has been of equally poor quality. Some of these titles, like "Leave the World Behind" and "Mercy Street," depict the deterioration of society; some, like "Caste" and "The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois" argue that things aren't getting worse, they've always been bad. And some, like "Harlem Shuffle," are just great stories.
