Best Film of Every Year (1913-2022)

The list contains my favorite film from each year from 1913 to 2022. I chose 1913 as it was the year when feature film filmmaking was beginning to become exciting. Cinema as we know it began to take shape.
A note about Love Exposure (2008): There is conflicting information about Love Exposure's release date between Letterboxd and this site, ListChallenges. Letterboxd has 2008, which I used to make this list, but ListChallenges has 2009.
