I was originally going to make one long list of sodas; however, it started to become a little TOO long, so I decided to break it into separate lists.
Part 1 features colas and "cola-like" (or "cola-flavored") beverages from all over the world -- including cherry and other flavored colas -- as well as "spicy cherry" or "pepper-flavored" soft drinks (think Dr. Pepper ... and many Dr. Pepper knockoffs!). Energy drinks and non-carbonated beverages are for the most part left out, although a few of them might have snuck in.
Most of these sodas are fairly current as of summer 2021, but I do include recently-discontinued brands if I can find evidence of them still being sold somewhere (or if they for whatever reason still appear on a brand's otherwise up-to-date website).
