Blunderman Presents: 12 Directors of Modern Cinema

Having looked at some of the greatest films of each period of cinema, let's look at the filmmakers responsible for them.
This final list features twelve of the defining filmmakers from the mid 1990s to the present. Each is represented by two of their films that I have seen. Again, they are part of this era if this is where their careers were at their highest. The Coens were making films in the 80s, but their careers really took off with "Fargo" in 1996, and set them up for more success with movies like "The Big Lebowski", "O Brother Where Art Thou", and "No Country for Old Men". Similarly, Tarantino's successes in the early 90s paved the way for future projects in the 21st century.
