Books a Culture Editor Read in 2018 - Page 2

The PBS Great Read stepped up my reading a LOT, after a year where I read only books whose author I was interviewing, watching a lot of Cable news. These are ranked loosely in order of the stars I gave them, just to keep you guessing. Some of these were novellas and quite short, a few childhood rereads, but others were VERY long ("Don Quixote" is really two books!) so it all evens out.
