Books Darya Read in 2025

Here's a list of things I read in 2025. 15 are re-reads and 20 new reads. I read 20 novels, 1 short story, 4 works of poetry and 10 memoir/essay/non-fiction works. Definite highlights of this year were: Edmund Burke's Reflections on the Revolution in France, Beowulf, Robert Blair's The Grave: A Poem, Augustine's Confessions, Villette and Emily Bronte's The Night is Darkening Round Me. Coming into the new year I definitely want to get into more poetry seeing as it constituted some of my favourite reading of 2025!
