Books for Your Spirit, Books That Inspire - Reading Beyond the Bible

In a day when Christianity is often over-taken by political factions, white nationalists, and the extremes, there are decent Christians working to learn, help, hope, and actively seeking to make life better for others, the planet, and the church. The books in this list are all Christian. Some of them would be very controversial to some of the far right faction, but they are, nonetheless, talking about Jesus and the difference he makes. If you haven't read them, I found many of the books on this list through reading the weekly BookNotes published by Hearts and Minds Bookstore.
