Books H Read or Wants to Read Because of Her Nine Worlds Obsession

I got really into Victoria Goddard's 'Nine Worlds' series - particularly Hands of the Emperor and At the Feet of the Sun - a couple of years ago, and it kicked off a bunch more reading. Some of these were excellent (Blue Machine!), some were dreadful (A Brief History of the Pacific), and some I still have to look forward to. Mostly non-fiction with some fiction mixed in.
