Books Originally Written in a Non-English Language Read by Bibliagirl - Page 3

I tried to find all the books I've read that were originally in a language other than English. Some of the Spanish books I actually read in Spanish (I think all but Isabel Allende or Paulo Coehlo); it was my minor in university and I studied abroad for a semester in Spain. I also went through my folklore, Greek/Roman classics, and philosophy collections, since I studied translated texts rather than retellings or summaries. I didn't include any of the religious readings I did in Hebrew/Sunday school or my religion class in college. There were more than I thought but I also wish there was more. Next year I hope to read more, since I plan on reading a lot of novels set in East and South Asian and want some of those to be authors from those countries.
