Books Sammy Didn't Love

Bad writing, characters I hated, a style or subject that didn't work for me, or just plain dull. Or maybe just the wrong book at the wrong time even. These books just didn't work for me like they (mostly) worked for others. Oddly, many of the authors have written other works which I enjoyed immensely. (Except Baxter. Baxter and I are quits. We've promised never to inflict ourselves on each other again...)
And before anyone screams at me for not liking the Fifth Season, it's simply that I LOATHE second person present tense narration. It belongs in choose-your-own-adventure books only. And I choose to avoid those. *shudder*
