Not all these books can be classed as favourites - I was disappointed in "The Inheritors" and "Oryx and Crake". "High Rise" wasn't as good as I remembered it to be either. However for some reason I haven't gotten rid of these books, so thought to see if any other listers had the same tastes. My actual library contains many, many more books than is listed here.
