Books That Will Give You Anxiety

Whether it be for the dark themes, the unsettling atmosphere or the unreliable narrator - these books have given me anxiety. Let me be clear that this is not a bad thing, several of my favorite novels are on here. It just means that the author has managed to really affect the reader. I have limited the list to fiction only.
