Diabetes is a growing epidemic, that many people have misconceptions about. So why not learn more about type one diabetes in a fun way by following these characters in their stories. If you're already a diabetic, why not read a book that has people going through similar struggles. Personally, as a type one diabetic, I am excited to read Sugar Scars, which is about a diabetic finding insulin in a post-apocalyptic world.
