Books You May Not Have Read

Yes, yes. We've all read The Scarlet Letter and Murder on the Orient Express. But we also read books that are not famous classics. And many of us are tired of seeing the same books on every list.
William Shakespeare? Not here. Every book ever written by Jane Austen? Nope. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Katniss Everdeen? They're all busy elsewhere. These are books I've read that aren't on these lists very often (if ever). Some are lesser known works by famous authors while others are pretty obscure. Not a huge variety, but since most of these are books I've chosen to read for fun, they reflect the genres I like.
You don't need a list to tell you what you should read. And unless you have required books for school or work, you should read whatever you want, whether it's a classic or not. As long as you keep reading, you are well read.
