Welcome to my Year in Books for 2024
Personally it was a lousy year for my husband and myself with being evicted and constantly moving around into temporary accommodation.
This had the effect of limiting my available reading time (along with losing over 5000 books - approximately 30 years worth of collecting them, so not having any books to read) It was one method of getting rid of my physical TBR pile - but not recommended.
As for the reading that I have undertaken this year, there is a lot of lighter reading within this list to distract myself from our situation at the time.
Within my list you find both fiction and non-fiction.
There is a high volume of poetry - almost a quarter of the list. Poetry was very helpful with limited reading time and lack of concentration.
There is also history, religion, plays, novels, hobbies/interests, politics/current affairs, humorous, quirky . . .
Starvation Heights - diets are very bad for your health!!!
