Hello! Brett Strong here. Welcome to my list of 1000 Favourite Albums. This list puts my original 600 Favourite Albums list to shame as 1000 was always the goal. As you will see the genres are all over the place, but that is what makes music so great. I truly believe there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure. If you like something - Own it! Whatever resonates with you is good music. Now as always, these are MY favourites. If your favourite album, artist or genre is not represented or an album, artist or genre you think is garbage did make the list...Cool down! There is no need to start a war over something as subjective as one's own personal taste. Let's be civil.
The entries are split into these record store inspired categories: Pop/Rock 1-419, Heavy Metal 420-810, Punk 811- 870, Jazz 871 - 936, Christmas 937- 954, Soundtracks 955 - 973, Stand-up/Sketch Comedy 974 - 1000. Don't get hung up on certain placements.
