British Books of 1971 - Page 2

Of the 200 most popular books published in 1971 listed on Goodreads, almost a quarter (44) were written by British born authors. I took the liberty of including Spike Milligan's autobiographical "Adolf Hitler: My Part in his Downfall" as although he was born in India, he mostly lived in Britain and it's usually listed as a British book.
I have no regrets about including Mr Tickle and Mr Happy; They are classic children's books.
