these run the full gamut of "this movie lives rent-free in my brain" to "oh yeah this was really good!" all the way to "i remember liking this but could tell you literally nothing about it" (and also The Crimson Rivers which is not a good movie and has a really deeply stupid twist ending, but some part about the middle really tickled my brain as a teen and i literally could not remember another French movie).
